Support Center: Nature’s Appetite Supressant

Not only will it help you maintain a "full feeling" while dieting, it will help dissolve fat deposits at the same time. So if you want to beat bloating: hydrate! Remember, about 30% of our water comes from the food we eat. Hence when we eat less (dieting) we need to drink more to make up the difference. Otherwise the kidneys don't get enough water to function properly and the liver must assume some of their work. This lowers the liver's ability to metabolize body fat and hence, the end result is weight (fat) gain ... and we thought drinking water would bloat us!

...clear skin, sound digestion, freedom from headaches...

In addition to kidney function and fat metabolism water also plays an important role in metabolism, digestion, joint tissues, muscles, (back pain!) headaches, fatigue, depression, morning sickness, and clear skin among other things!

So, how much water should we be drinking? A basic rule-of-thumb is 1/2 fluid oz per lb. body weight per day. For example: A 192 lb man would drink about (96 oz) 3 quarts per day.
