Weight Maintenance

Upon completing individualized goals, patients will transition into weight maintenance, with the knowledge of nutrition and exercise requirements, as well as behavioral modification strategies that will help you manage your weight for the long term. You will receive new information at this point that is specific for your lifestyle, and you may at this point have your metabolic resting rate re-measured. It is emphasized that maintaining the goal weight is ½ of the weight loss process.  With this long-term solution, you may choose to discontinue medication such as appetite suppressants, and explore more intensive exercise ideas, as well as creative cooking ideas.
