FreshStart

FreshStart encourages patients to adhere to eating healthy foods, while supplementing their diets with protein-fortified meal replacements (such as shakes and bars). This program is designed to educate patients about making healthy nutrition choices, and allows them to develop the tools necessary for weight loss and future weight maintenance.

StepRight

StepRight is a very successful weight loss program in which patients receive both protein-fortified meal replacements (such as shakes and bars), as well as education and training on how to incorporate healthy foods into the diet. We teach patients how to take small steps in the right direction, including tips for eating healthy for life.  When these principles are incorporated into lifestyle practice, patients typically experience rapid weight loss.

Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD)

The Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) is an intense weight loss program, based on a caloric intake of no more than 800 calories per day.  Due to the restrictive nature of this diet, the VLCD is advised exclusively for patients with a BMI of 35 or greater.  This diet is meant for those who must achieve rapid weight loss, and patients on the VLCD require adequate medical supervision and monitoring.

Weight Maintenance

The maintenance part of the weight loss process teaches patients how many calories they need to consume to remain at their current weight.  We also provide individualized, specific nutrition prescriptions for patients to maintain weight. Along with nutrition education, patients will learn how to incorporate exercise and behavioral changes into their lifestyles.
